organization created for the purposes of providing licensed property managers with educational and networking opportunities focused strictly on the renting and managing of
residential properties

When was NARPM formed?
A:
NARPM was formed by a group of tradesmen who were working on different properties and thought the property
managers just needed to get together to exchange ideas and information.
The first meetings took place in 1986 and there were 13 people in attendance. NARPM now has over 1500 members nationwide.

What types of Educational Benefits does NARPM offer?
A:
There is a series of classes offered toward two levels of education.
Candidacy toward the Residential Management Professional® (RMP) consists of the completion of 18 classroom hours of approved coursework. These classes range from Operations, Marketing, Maintenance, Tenancy just to name a few.
Candidacy toward the Master Property Manager® (MMP) designation includes an additional 24 classroom hours of approved coursework including Risk Management, Operating your own Maintenance Company and many others.
Each convention has many educational breakout sessions that include Fair Housing, Mold, Utilizing the Internet, E & O Insurance, Surviving a FREC audit and many more.

How do I become a NARPM member?
A:
To be a NARPM member you must first hold a valid and current real estate licensed issued by the State of
Florida. You must also manage residential properties. You must fill out an application, and pay the local ($50) and national dues ($195). For more information,
